Tostado

Tostado is a fast food franchise that was born in the city of Lechería, Venezuela.

The first time I ate at Tostado, the food and I clicked. However, I felt that the design of the brand didn't quite go with what I had eaten and I decided that if one day I had the opportunity to work with them, I would try to express through design what I felt when I ate one of their sandwiches.

My challenge here was to give a fresh and delicious face to the restaurant that would go along with the food and resonate with people.

In order to accomplish this goal I kept the original logo of the brand, with some minor adjustments, and created a new color palette. I also established design guidelines for the brand's communications, designed new packaging and the restaurant's website so that everything would be under the same visual line.

Today, Tostado is a national fast food reference that has connected with a large number of customers throughout Venezuela and I firmly believe that the re-design of the brand has played a fundamental role.

Despite keeping the original logo, I reconstructed and made small changes to the edges, curves and corners of the logotype, so it could look cleaner and more fluid, thus taking care of even the smallest detail of the brand.
